Hi, Fellow daylily fan I would be interested in trading this spring. I'm in WV so we also have to wait till warmer weather. I do have some purples like Get all excited, Bela Lagosi, Jennie (lynn maybe), and a few others in those color schemes. I also have some other beauties. This is the one I have. I found this information on another site, but I don't want to copy and paste the other person's photo of Kwanso. It's much more "messy" looking. From Stout's early description in the AHS Yearbook 1957. " The number of fully formed petals in flowers of Flore Pleno usually ranges from 8 to 14 and the number of well-formed stamens usually ranges from 6 to O. The flowers of the Kwanso type show wide variation in the relative numbers of petals and stamens. Frequently the only well-formed petals are those of the primary or first whorl in which case the number of poorly developed petaloids and normal and abortive stamens is high. Decrease in the number of bladed petaloids is accompanied by increase in the number of stamens. Often in the flowers of Kwanso the petals and petaloids are much twisted and curled. "

*UPDATE* Thanks Everyone for answering my post! I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to e-mail everyone back, but after posting this I received my first daylily order and had a ton of plants to get in the ground, then received my second! (huge clumps) and have been busy dividing and moving plants all over the garden.... I didn't realize how busy I would get and how much work I would have! I have lots of named daylilies for trade and even some pretty lost-name daylilies. Each trade would be a DF. Some of these are small as they've been growing in the shade. I'm looking for: Double Peonies NAMED daylilies, particularly some with a love/romance theme Gingko tree Dinnerplate hibiscus (show me a picture please. I want something I don't already have) Other unusual hibiscus with large (7+ inches) blooms Unusual perennials for zone 7 Canna Constitution Ornamental grasses that I don't have I prefer big trades.
